Our first week

We met and brought home Angel from the Winter Gathering last week. At that point I was told her name has Hallo/Halo. I didn't find out until Wed. or Thurs. that her call name was Angel. It really didn't matter, she doesn't respond to any of them yet. We are working hard to get her to respond to her name. She's a very good girl but an Angel only in name. She is just wayyyy to interested in things in the kitchen, and she wants to eat everybody elses food. She is playing with Maggie. She will go out and play but isn't a big fan of outside. She crates fairly well but does cry at first. She doesnt sleep thru the night. We dont crate at night, and she gets up paces a few times a night. She also barks and growls in her sleep. Fortunately everyone sleeps in separate beds so there is no worry of any snapping. She doesnt like the other dog in the mirror or the one reflected off the glass door. There have been no potty accidents, she came housebroken. Do you want a dog that will climb up in your lap and let you pet her for hours? This is the girl for you.

  1. Awe, sweet little Angel :-) You're just getting used to your new surroundings. Whichever name you are given, I'm sure you will eventually run to it. You sound so curious about the kitchen and the dinner table. SO many new sights and smells! No problem. With a little patience and training, you'll know all about the kitchen, YOUR meal times, and the yummy goodies and treats that your family will share with you ;-) I'm glad you enjoy playing with Maggie. Don't worry about going outside for now. It is REALLY cold outside!
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having a little trouble sleeping at night. I have a feeling that, once you're used to your surroundings, you'll sleep like a baby. And the reflection in the glass... It's YOU,silly! :-) Proud of you for you perfect no-potty-accident record. Awesome! Well, climb up in your fosters lap and get warm! You're beautiful! :-)
